Horizontal Integration

Horizontal integration is another effective method. In this method, the company needs to use a separate sub-system in between other sub-systems. This layer is called Enterprise Service Bus. Most companies use horizontal integration, so each sub-system can work without replacing other systems. Cause this method allows each sub-system to use a single interface.  

Star Integration

Star integration is when you are using point-to-point connections to connect a sub-system is connected with other sub-systems. Moreover, this method has better functionality compared to the above two. Well, there is a major drawback of this method. When the systems increase, the number of integration also increases. 

Common Data Integration

Common data integration method is getting popular nowadays. Many companies use common data integration, so they can avoid having adapter convert from each application format. Cause this method sets an application-independent format. This method offers a service that transformation one application into another common application.
