Sixteen years ago Mark Zuckerberg started a new era, where Social Medias has invaded the whole world. He launched Facebook in 2004 and billions of people around the world started using this platform to communicate with each other, no matter their age. It became the most popular way for people to connect with each other and it started a new era of communication for sure.

As we all know, people are always trying to improve themselves , find new ways to live  more easily, so new Social Platforms came across and started to displace Facebook from the front positions.

In 2009, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger launched a social network called Instagram. Only two months after the release , there were already one million people registered. When Instagram was first developed, it was meant to be a media for sharing only photos and videos,but with the large increase of users using the platform more and more features are being added and it attracts millions of new customers every day.  Many people think that Instagram is a better social platform than Facebook, because the best way of communication is with pictures, as pictures speak a language that is understandable for all the people around the world. The social platform rapidly gained popularity and by the end of May 2019 there were 1 billion people using the platform. The last few years most people prefer using Instagram instead of Facebook. So in 2012 the Facebook owners decided to buy Instagram, and they did buy it for $1 billion. It was a really smart marketing  strategy, because Instagram threatened to displace Facebook really fast.Recent research shows that young people prefer to use social platforms such as Instagram , Snapchat and Tick Tock instead of Facebook.

During the last few years more and more people started to use Instagram and now it is not only a social media for communication, but also a really strong marketing tool. Almost 80 percent of the time that people spend on the network is on the social platforms, so business start to invest  much more funds by promoting their services on Instagram,but not only the business spends money promoting their products, now basically everyone can become famous and gain or Buy Instagram Likes.

Nowadays most people focus entirely on gaining a large amount of people following them and Instagram has already become an addiction. They are ready to invest money on promoting their posts or buy services from companies that provide easy ways of growing their accounts and increase their audience.As many followers someone has , as many chances to earn money from Instagram will become bigger.This is the reason why people are interested to buy followers on Instagram , however they can also buy likes on Instagram as well, which will increase their audience even more.

We should know that Social Media can be also dangerous , not only fun ,especially for young girls, in their early teenage years,because they are influenced by all the girls present themselves as  Instagram models.They have the ability to reach millions of people every day and they pretend to look perfect on their photos,using so many applications to edit their images and young girls are trying to copy them and even resort to plastic surgery in their desire to look perfect.

So in conclusion we can say that Instagram is the social platform of the century, lots of people are spending all their free time on it, but we should not trust everything we see on the platform and we must be careful using the application.
