You might have a house that you are currently working for to pay. A property is like a child. It needs proper care so it does not diminish, and it can be hard to give that if you are working or doing something that takes up most of your time in a day. The term property maintenance takes all the responsibilities in the house. It’s a service that combines cleaning the house, doing repairs and checks, and providing dwell safety nets. It is indeed a professional job, and clients need to outsource reputable people in the field to make sure the job is well done. It started in the real estate industry, where people buy and sell houses.

Knowing that even though properties are expensive, they diminish quickly. People have found a way to spend a bit of cash to retain the value of their properties, which is relatively cheaper than buying another property. But more than that, the said process made it possible for people to “upgrade” the value of their properties through good maintenance and repair works.

Such maintenance includes a thorough inspection of the house, from the foundations to the surface level design of the place. Then they start repairing from the inner part of the house, such as electrical works and water posts.

Then they go to the outer part, like walls and floors. They also check if the place will be prone to any natural calamity, like floods or earthquakes, then make safety measures.   • Regular Maintenance

Regular maintenance is a type of maintenance that refers to minor adjustments and fixes that either in-house staff or specialist does to a property. They do extensive cleaning and check if the appliances like air conditioning and faucets are still functioning.

  • Corrective Maintenance

Corrective maintenance is maintenance that incorporates basic repair works to the features of regular maintenance. One should note, however, that the repairs under this type of maintenance are basic only. The difference from regular maintenance is that the workers can repair the problems once they see them, or the tenant can ask another agent to do it. The tenant can deal with the difficulties anytime because they are not as urgent.

  • Emergency Maintenance

Emergency maintenance is a different story. From the name itself, emergency maintenance refers to spontaneous maintenance performed due to urgency and necessity. The metric firms use how a human’s life is at risk with the damage found. For example, if the air conditioner does not work, people can deal with it for a couple of days. But if it’s the second floor of the house collapsing, then the tenants need emergency maintenance.
